About FCCSBM
The Florida Conservative Coalition of School Board Members didn't just appear out of thin air with the 2022 elections. This organization is the product of years of conservative school board members being elected, and then feeling isolated, and that their voices weren't being heard. With the sharp focus on school board elections in 2022, conservatives finally began to pay attention to who was directing the education of their children's schools.
The current executive board saw the perfect opportunity after they were elected into office, to form a group of like minded school board members to network with, learn with, and share this journey with. We don't always agree, and all of our counties and districts have different cultures. However, we all stand together in supporting parental and teacher rights, a sincere focus on educating our children, and creating the safest environments for our children to learn in.
Together we can make the state of Florida the leader in our country's education, and support one another along the way.
Constant Education
Just because we have been elected into office doesn't mean the hard work stops. We pride ourselves on constantly providing answers and education for our members. Every day provides new and thought provoking issues, and we believe in being well educated decision makers. Please stay tuned for events that can keep you up to date on a variety of topics.
Networking
One of the most important aspects of being an elected school board member is to constantly stay up to date on what is happening around you, and not just in your own county.
We constantly compare data on academics and safety and security statewide, and work with the DOE to ensure that our members at FCCSBM are always informed to make impactful decisions.
Networking with one another and sharing best practices, and our own experiences, gives us the information that we need on the dais to be effective and successful.
